Spring Recess
There will be no school on Friday April 6th and Monday April 9th, due to Easter weekend.
This quarter we will be completing the second half of the United States Book, with the last 25 states. This will, once again, be an in class assignment, and not a homework assignment. It will be due at the end of the quarter and is a big Social Studies grade.
Endangered Species Project
This quarter we will be doing a project on an endangered species of your child’s choice. Parts of it will be homework, and parts of it will be in class work. Look for the rubric and instructions to come home with your student today, Monday, April 2nd.
AIMS Week
April 16 - 20th is the week of the AIMS test. Please make sure not to schedule any appointments or trips during this week. It is very important that your child is at school, on time, during this whole week.
Attendance
We will be doing AIMS preparation every day until the test, so it is still important that your child be here. During the school day, students also receive participation points during lessons. When they are not here, they do receive them and it lowers their grades. Attendance is very important.
