Social Studies States Book

This quarter we have been creating a book on 25 of the 50 states. This is a big Social Studies grade! This is due next Friday, March 9^th. If your child needs to take it home for homework to be sure it gets finished on time, they may do so now.

Heritage Project

This quarter students have been working on a project about their heritage and ancestry. This is also a big Social Studies grade! This is a homework assignment, not an in class assignment. It is due Friday, March 16^th for in-class presentations.

Heritage Feast

Tuesday, March 20th, is the last day of the 3^rd quarter. It is a half day with no after school program. On this day we will also have the annual 3^rd Grade Heritage Feast. Students are to bring in a favorite dish from their family’s heritage. Parents are welcome to join in on the fun!

Love of Reading Week
